Ardex appoints Tom Doyle Supplies to distribute Pandomo floors

Polished concrete surfaces with a twist of colour

Patrick Doyle from Tom Doyle Supplies and Noel O'Toole from ArdexPRESS RELEASE – Building products specialist Ardex has appointed Wexford-based Tom Doyle Supplies as the distributor for its seamless Pandomo floors and wall covering in Ireland.

Pandomo is a unique floor design concept that replicates polished concrete surfaces, but offering a more flexible and versatile solution. The Pandomo floor is a cement based resilient floor finish that can be applied to a variety of substrates and selected in any colour of choice. There is also a wall version available that can be applied to the majority of building materials. It is a very versatile product, attractive and hard wearing and has a R9 slip rating for commercial settings.

“Many people would like to have the feel of polished concrete floors in their homes or offices but not all cements have the quality required for this process. Pandomo solves this problem by adding a specially prepared aggregate layer, allowing extra possibilities in relation to design, such as choosing the colour for your polished concrete floor,” explains Patrick Doyle of Tom Doyle Supplies.

“Pandomo consists of a 5mm cement layer that can be applied to a concrete surface; this layer is then polished and coated for a sleek and glossy finish. It is a star product and we are delighted to be the first ones in Ireland to offer it to our customers.”

Ardex has been active in Ireland for some 15 years and has a wide range of customers across different industries. General Manager of Ardex in Ireland Noel O’Toole explains the uniqueness of Pandomo floors:

“Over the past few years we have invested heavily in technology, creating the best quality adhesives and flooring solutions possible. The Pandomo flooring system is the result of such investment.  This hard wearing, attractive floor is suitable for both domestic and commercial outlets. While construction sales have in general declined, demand for Pandomo floors has only increased, due to its high quality and design value.”

Tom Doyle Supplies has recently installed Pandomo floor in its bathroom showrooms in Camolin, Co. Wexford.
