Espion Distribution nominated for Specialist Distributor of the Year Award

Irish distributor specialising in security and networking solutions, Espion Distribution, has been nominated for the Specialist Distributor of the Year Award in the ICT Excellence Awards 2010.

The Specialist Distributor of the Year category rewards ICT distribution companies specialising in one or more technology categories, demonstrating outstanding business performance over the last year. This year’s candidates have been nominated by trade-only readers of Irish Computer magazine.

According to Jim Lehane, Sales Director of Espion Distribution, “We are delighted to be nominated for this award, especially as it was a result of a public vote by the trade audience. It is recognition of the contribution that Espion Distribution has made to the industry and acknowledgment of the excellence we aim to provide. By delivering the highest level of partner support and best in class security and networking technologies, with the technical expertise needed to deploy them successfully, we will continue to grow our position as a leading distributor in the Irish marketplace.”

Billy Huggard, Operations Director of Mediateam and event organiser in 2009, said: “These awards are a clear demonstration of Ireland’s ability to compete on the world stage in this burgeoning ICT industry – and by clearly identifying gaps in the marketplace – researching and innovating – expanding Ireland’s ICT Industry.”

The ICT Excellence Awards is Ireland’s longest running most prestigious and respected awards programme, recognising outstanding achievers in the information and communications technology industry. Now in its tenth year, the awards will be presented at a black-tie Gala Dinner in the D4 Berkeley Hotel, on Thursday 20th May.
