Hiring activities accelerated to fill technical and consultancy roles
Espion, Information Security specialist, is looking for candidates to fill a number of vacancies as it builds the team needed to achieve the company’s growth targets. This recruitment drive follows just weeks after Minister Eamon Ryan officially opened the new Espion offices to cater for Espion’s expansion and accommodate new staff. Already there have been 4 new staff hired and focus is now on expanding the technical and consultancy areas of the business.

The roles Espion are looking to fill include –
Technical Pre Sales/Services Officer – Distribution
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing product technical expertise, in the Pre Sales & Post Sales qualification cycle including 2nd and 3rd level support and training on a range of networking and security products. This role also includes internal IT support and requires a good knowledge of desk top and network security environments.
Security Engineer
The role involves the configuration of log management solutions at customer sites (on-site or remotely) requiring an understanding of TCP/IP, Syslog, Firewalls, VPNs and NAT technology. The successful candidate will also be required to ensure that pre-agreed reports and event management alerts are delivered to the client on an as agreed basis and perform scheduled maintenance and management tasks on the IT environment supporting the solution.
Senior IT Security / IT Risk Consultant
An experienced candidate is required to provide consultancy/advice in Enterprise Risk Management to our clients under the direction of the Head of Consultancy in the following areas – Information Security Governance, Risk Identification, Management, Analysis, Audit, Pen Testing, Risk Assessments etc. Business Continuity Planning, ISO27001 and PCI / DSS Consultancy. The role involves working closely with the other consultants in the service division and to provide training and pre-sales to Espion clients.
