Destination shopping and activity centre Rathwood, in the Carlow/Wicklow/Wexford border is hosting is traditional Halloween celebrations on Saturday 22nd October.
One of the main activities is Rathwood’s Pumpkin Train ride, where children get to visit the forest onboard of the Rathwood train. At the end of the train ride, each kid will get to pick a pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch.
The Rathwood Witches will then help the children carve their pumpkins so they can bring them home.
Kids are encouraged to dress up as there is a prize for the best fancy dress.
