Sign up as an IHWT Volunteer, and help horses in need

A3 punchestown collection

The Irish Horse Welfare Trust, is looking for volunteers to sign up and make the difference for horses in need by becoming an IHWT Volunteer.

Jane Myercough explains”IHWT is made up of 80% of volunteers who offer their time to support the work of the IHWT.   There are many people out there who have always wanted to do more or make a real impact within the world of equine welfare, and this is a way for them to get directly involved and do just that”.

The recession has put a huge strain on the resources of charities, and that IHWT needs to constantly fundraise in order to continue providing this frontline service for horses that need immediate assistance.

IHWT has opportunities for both fundraising volunteers and welfare officers.

The most immediate fundraiser will take place at the Punchestown festival which runs from Tuesday 24th to Saturday 28th of April and IHWT need bucket shakers fundraising volunteers for this event.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Punchestown, for this great fundraising opportunity and their continued support adds Myerscough .

If you are interested in becoming part of the IHWT, and bucket shaking or becoming a welfare officer,  please do get in touch by email, at info@ihwt.ie .
