New accounting system allows 15% savings
Irish audiovisual presentation equipment company System Video has implemented accounting system Pegasus Opera II. The new system is allowing the company to save 15%.
“We have been using Opera for over 11 years and purchased the initial system as part of an IT fit out when we moved into our present premises in Palmerstown,” explains David Carroll, Managing Director of System Video. “At the time, we looked at a number of packages and selected Opera for its great level of support and service.”
The company recently upgraded to Pegasus Opera II. The new accounting system allows System Video a better access to information, resulting in significant financial savings. “The new system is easy to use, it has better functionality and more information available to the team. It also allows us to store data neatly and, ultimately, our staff are happier,” says Carroll.
Established in 1978 by Tom Carroll, System Video is the Irish market leader of Audio Visual presentation equipment. The company designs, supplies, installs and maintains fully integrated boardroom, conference room, audio, lighting and room control systems for Corporate, Government, Home, Hotel and Leisure projects. System Video currently employs 30 people based at the company’s offices and warehouse in Palmerstown.
“System Video’s experience of upgrading to Opera II is consistent with our other users,” says Carmelisa Dunne, business development manager with Pegasus. “Opera II is more than just an upgrade but rather a new product that builds on the old, allowing companies, like System Video, to manage their businesses in a more intuitive and timely manner. We were delighted to be able demonstrate the business case to System Video for Opera II and to ultimately have a successful install and a happy client.”
